In 2023, a House Oversight subcommittee held a hearing on UFOs, which featured testimonies about unexplained object sightings and “nonhuman” biological matter.

Highlights from this hearing include:

• David Grusch, a former U.S. intelligence official, believes the federal government is “absolutely” in possession of UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena)
• Grusch also claims to know colleagues who were injured by UAPs.
• David Fravor, a former Navy commander, claims he and others have spotted white Tic-Tac-shaped objects accelerating to supersonic speeds.
